The calendar will be sold as a PDF document with clickable links, and we are still exploring the option to also publish the calendar as a printed 2019 Wall Calendar.

The aim of this calendar is to help you to better forecast key activities which are occurring during your planned trip to Japan, to assist you to either set up your itinerary to either participate or avoid these events!  We have included the major festivals, public holidays, school holidays, seasonal timings (cherry blossom, autumn foliage, ski and snowboarding seasons), as well as other events such as auto and anime events, Rugby World Cup 2019 and many more.

We are planning to launch the Japan Travel Planning Calendar for sale in the next two weeks and look forward to being able to better help you plan your trips to Japan.

Tokyo Haneda airport: Why this is really the best airport in the world by Traveller

My favourite airport in the world doesn’t feel like an airport. And that’s the key. There are a few of the inevitable reminders there – the check-in process, the security queues, the requirement to get on a plane and fly somewhere – but for the bulk of the time you spend at this place, it’s basically not an airport at all.
